BODY CONFIGURATIONS | Work in Progress
Titled after VALIE EXPORT's seminal series, I shot these photographs in the streets of Venice while I was there for the exhibition of my performance series RePose at the Pallazzo Grassi. I consider this initial portfolio a study for further investigations. I am concerned with the tension between my indigenous body and the ideological, social, and psychological forces that shape the urban environment. These initial studies were printed in 2023 in my darkroom on 20x24 Silver Gelatin Paper.
