BODY CONFIGURATIONS | Work in Progress
Titled after VALIE EXPORT's seminal series, I made these photographs in Venice while performing RePose at the Pallazzo Grassi. This portfolio serves as a kind of shadow series to RePose. Instead of wearing white in the studio I'm outside in all black, re-enacting EXPORT's actions, and inserting my body into the architecture of the city. All photographs were printed in 2023 in my darkroom on 20x24 Silver Gelatin Paper.
